With this announcement, Nielsen further expands its coverage within the growing pet retail channel. Effective immediately, Nielsen will be capturing point-of-sale data, covering metrics for Pet Valu and Pet Supermarket stores located in the U.S. Nielsen will be the first and only source for Pet Retail Brands’ custom trading area views and retail defined hierarchy for its vendor partners.
